Barron & Larcher Fabric Collection by Christopher Farr Cloth

Dorothy Larcher and Phyllis Barron were the great British block printers of the twentieth century, and these fabrics are taken from their archive with the Crafts Study Centre. Look for the dense Carnac, the engraved Peacock and the small-scale Day, each one carrying the slight irregularity of a hand-cut block. They belong in a room that likes its pattern with a history.

Good to know

How much fabric do I need?

It depends on the window or furniture and on the pattern repeat, which is given on every product page. Your curtain maker or upholsterer will give you an exact figure; order it all at once so it comes from the same batch and arrives as one continuous length.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Most fabrics have a sample, and up to 6 samples are delivered free. Samples show the colour and the weave, though not always the full pattern repeat.

Can fabric be returned?

Fabric is cut to order for you, so it can't be cancelled or returned. That's why we always suggest ordering a sample first.

How long will delivery take?

Every product page shows its own delivery time and an estimated arrival date. Delivery is free on UK mainland orders over £100; Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands are charged at checkout.

Do you offer trade accounts?

Yes, for interior designers, decorators and commercial projects. Find out about trade accounts.
