A collaboration between Barcelona-based Coordonné and London designer Bodo Sperlein — a maker whose work spans ceramics, furniture and textiles, and whose instinct for translating three-dimensional form into two-dimensional surface gives this collection a quality that feels genuinely distinct.
Drawing on Far Eastern calligraphy, fabric collage, dynamic ribbon forms and British vintage design, Bodo works with watercolour, graphite, chalk and collage to create patterns with real sculptural presence — designs that add texture and depth to a room rather than simply covering a wall. Metallic finishes run through several designs, bringing an interplay of light and surface that shifts throughout the day. Produced by Coordonné in Barcelona, paste-the-wall throughout, and as considered in craft as it is in concept.
