Abstract Wallpaper
Abstract wallpaper is pattern without a motif: expressive shapes, painterly washes, brush marks and loose geometry that bring movement and depth to a wall. It can be as quiet as a tonal texture or as confident as a gallery canvas, which makes it one of the most versatile styles we carry.
Clarke & Clarke's Metropolitan is a bestseller, from Malevich, which pairs the boldness of abstract art with a soft neutral colourway, to Kazimir's energetic grid of painterly brush strokes. Scion's Going Lohko keeps things clean-lined with an all-over rectangular design, and Eijffinger's Twist stacks curved and straight lines into something quirky. Sketch Twenty 3's Monaco offers Celeste, with delicate raised ink relief in an iridescent finish, and Galerie's City Romance and Harlequin's Defined Momentum bring softer, textural takes.
An abstract design suits a modern living room or a home office, and a gentle, tonal one can be hung across all four walls without overwhelming the space.
