Llosa lays small rectangular slabs in alternating pairs, a basketweave that runs edge to edge without a break. Here in beige, warm enough to sit happily against timber, rush and unpainted plaster. It is the paving of a Catalan pavement, drawn tight enough to behave like a texture. Supplied as a single panel, so the design arrives already sized and needs no matching. Llaüt is named for the traditional Catalan sailing boat, and takes its cues from a walk through Cadaqués, the Costa Brava village Dalí made his home.
