Good to know

How many rolls do I need?

Use the wallpaper calculator, or "How many rolls do I need?" on any product page, which allows for the pattern repeat. Order all your rolls together so they come from the same batch.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. Most papers have a sample, usually A4, and up to 6 samples are delivered free. A sample is the best way to check colour and texture in your own room.

Why does the batch number matter?

Rolls from different production batches can vary slightly in shade. Rolls ordered together always come from one batch; if you're topping up an earlier order, add its batch number on the product page and we'll match it.

Can I return wallpaper?

Most unused rolls can be returned: tell us within 14 days of delivery and send them back within 30. Some brands charge a 25% restocking fee on returns made after 14 days. Papers that are printed or made to order, and murals, can't be returned. Each product page tells you which applies.

How long will delivery take?

Every product page shows its own delivery time and an estimated arrival date. Delivery is free on UK mainland orders over £100; Northern Ireland, the Highlands and islands are charged at checkout.

Do you offer trade accounts?

Clarke & Clarke was founded in 1999 by the husband and wife team Emma and Julian Clarke, and grew from the north west of England into one of the country's most widely used design houses. Now part of the Sanderson Design Group, it has always understood that most people want something stylish, versatile and good value, and its papers run from dramatic florals and confident geometrics to quiet textures and metallic shimmer.

It is also a house that loves to collaborate. Our bestselling Clarke & Clarke collection is Wilderie by the artist Emma J Shipley, full of hand-drawn curious creatures and British fairytales, and her earlier Animalia brings jungle scenes in bold colour. William Morris Designs offers some of the best known patterns in the world, and the Breegan Jane collection draws on scenes from around the world. Secret Garden brings botanical pattern and geometric structure together, from Standen, inspired by Standen House and Gardens in West Sussex, to the Art Deco elegance of Attingham.

For something bolder, Exotica 2 pays homage to tropical island life with large-scale jungle florals, Art Deco leopards and Clarke & Clarke's famous monkeys, while Indira reworks traditional woodblock prints and archival sketches. The newest collections, Metropolitan and Elements, turn to city rhythm and to nature's textures respectively, and Vivido layers abstract shapes and lines in a muted pastel palette.

For practical glamour, Expressions is a range of hard-wearing performance vinyl semi-plains with polished metallic sheens, and Lusso adds metallic highlights to timeless feature prints.
