Introducing Parker & Jules: Award-Winning English Wallpaper

By Wallpaper Sales

Parker & Jules was founded by a print designer with a fashion background and an interior designer with a deep love of English interior heritage. The result is something genuinely unlike anything else: wallpaper that reworks nostalgia with a boldly modern palette, across three distinct collection worlds. We are very pleased to be stocking them.

Shop the Collection

Some brands arrive and you immediately understand why they needed to exist. Parker & Jules is one of them. Founded by print designer Nancy Parker, with a background in international fashion, and interior designer Juliet O'Carroll, with a deep love of English design heritage and a fine eye for proportion and restraint, the brand sits at an unusual intersection: fashion-world colour confidence married to an interior designer's sense of scale. The result is wallpaper that reworks nostalgic motifs with a palette so fresh and considered it feels genuinely contemporary. Every design is printed to order in England, with a sustainably minded approach built in from the start. We are delighted to be stocking them, across both wallpaper and fabric.

Folly: A Small-Scale Floral for Any Room

Folly is a small, tight floral repeat with the character of a block-printed textile, arranged so that it can also be read as a subtle stripe — making it one of the most quietly versatile designs in the Cotswold Idyll wallpaper collection. The colourway range runs from the warm and earthy to the cooler and more delicate: Muscovado and Barley sit alongside Toffee, Elderflower and Chalkstream, giving a genuinely wide range of moods from the same design. The Cotswold Idyll fabric collection carries Folly in several colourways on a linen base — the Dovecote and Whitstable colourways in particular have a warmth and softness that makes them ideal for curtains and blinds in rooms where you want the pattern to sit quietly in the background.

Jaipur: The East India Collection

The East India collection is where Parker & Jules move furthest from the English garden. Drawing on the rich ornamental traditions of Indian block printing and textile design, the wallpapers in this range have a warmth and intricacy that sits in a completely different register from the botanical collections. Jaipur Coral Moss is a particularly striking colourway, bringing together earthy terracotta warmth and a deep moss green in a design that commands a wall without overwhelming a room. Saffron Rose and Emerald Turquoise offer the same design in very different colour registers. The East India fabric collection carries complementary linen pieces including the Chintz 21 range — a large-scale exuberant botanical drawn entirely in a 21st-century spirit — that extend the same visual language beautifully into soft furnishings. For anyone drawn to maximalist wallpaper or designs with a strong sense of place, this is the collection to explore first.

Lulu: The One That Surprises

Lulu is the collection in the Parker & Jules range that tends to surprise people most. A fluid, spotted motif with a painterly looseness that nods to a leopard print, it is rendered in an entirely decorative spirit and sits beautifully on a wall without ever feeling wilful or difficult. The colourway range includes Verdigris, Cinnamon Tobacco, Jade Rose and Hunter Plaster, each offering a very different interpretation of the same design. Lulu Verdigris brings a deep botanical green that shifts with the light throughout the day. Lulu Cinnamon Tobacco offers the same design in a warm, earthy tone that works especially well in north-facing rooms and candlelit dining spaces. Browse the Circles and Straights wallpaper collection to see Lulu alongside the other designs in this range, including the Trees series and the Double Scroll Stripe.

Mitford: Fine-Lined English Charm

Mitford is one of the quieter, more considered designs in the Parker & Jules range: a small, delicate floral with a fine-lined quality that recalls the best English printed textiles. It works beautifully in rooms where you want pattern without volume, and the colourway range — Tea Tea, English Rose and Vintage Blue among them — keeps it feeling fresh rather than simply traditional. The fabric carries the same motif on a linen base, and the Mitford Vintage Blue fabric in particular pairs beautifully with several of the wallpaper colourways for a thoroughly layered scheme. Samples for both can be ordered directly from each product page.

Birdlip: The Signature Botanical

Birdlip is the collection that most immediately conveys what Parker & Jules are about. A small-scale, hand-drawn botanical with a repeat that sits beautifully on a wall without ever becoming busy, it comes in a range of colourways that shows real courage with colour. Birdlip Ice Navy is a particularly good demonstration of that confidence: a cool, refined blue that works as easily in a sitting room as it does in a hallway or bedroom. The colourway range extends to Saffron, Midnight, Conker, Spring Green, Butter and Biscuit, covering a wide enough spectrum to suit most room types and light conditions. The matching Birdlip fabric is available in several of the same colourways, which makes cohesive, layered schemes genuinely easy to achieve. If you are drawn to botanical wallpaper but find most options a little too safe, this is the collection to look at. As a print-to-order design, we recommend ordering a sample from the product page before committing to rolls.

Eversley: Garden Colour, Reimagined

Eversley takes a more densely botanical approach, with a layered, garden-inspired design that rewards close attention. The colourways are where it really distinguishes itself from the usual country-house botanical: rather than soft heritage tones, Parker & Jules have given Eversley a colour palette that feels entirely of its moment. Eversley Jade Rose is a particularly good example, combining a rich jade green with rose in a way that manages to feel both traditional and genuinely fresh. Coral Moss, Verdigris and Cinnamon Tobacco round out the range, each one offering a different but equally resolved reading of the same design. The Eversley fabric carries the same motif in a linen mix, making it a strong candidate for rooms where you want to take the scheme further into curtains or cushions. If you love the world of floral wallpaper but want something with a more distinctive colour story, Eversley is worth your full attention. Samples can be ordered directly from the product page.

Folk Floral: Pattern with Real Personality

Folk Floral is the collection that most clearly shows Nancy Parker's background as a print designer. Where botanical wallpaper tends towards botanical accuracy, Folk Floral takes its inspiration from folk art traditions, with a looser, more expressive hand and a sense of movement that gives it real energy on a wall. Folk Floral Lilac is a particular favourite from the range: a soft, bloomy colourway that carries warmth without ever becoming saccharine, and one that works beautifully in bedrooms and dining rooms alike. Further colourways include Day Blue, Crimson, Tea and Pistachio. The Folk Floral fabric is available in Tea, Lilac and Crimson on a linen mix, and mixing wallpaper and fabric from the same collection is one of the more effortless ways to create a finished, considered room.
