Anima is Coordonné's most playful collection, and the one that rewards a second look. Sixteen designs move between the charming and the faintly surreal: paper cranes folded and scattered with every crease drawn in on Grullas de Papel, ducks caught mid waddle on El Baile del Pato, cheetahs prowling a flat invented landscape, and the vignettes of blossom and small figures on Historias de Tokio, whose title borrows from Ozu's Tokyo Story. Paraísos Artificiales takes the idea furthest, a garden painted in colours no garden ever had. The palette is broad and confident, running from Granate and Rojo through Marino and Verde to the quieter Hueso, Piedra and Blanco, so the same drawing can read as bold or as barely there depending on the ground you choose. The collection spans repeating wallpapers and larger murals, and suits a room where you want some wit on the wall. Produced by Coordonné in Barcelona on non-woven.
