Ixent ranges louvred slats into narrow vertical panels, each panel set a little out of step with its neighbour. Here in black, where the paler outlines do all the work and the pattern reads graphic rather than soft. It is the light and shade of a shutter closed against the afternoon. Supplied as a single panel, so the design arrives already sized and needs no matching. Llaüt is named for the traditional Catalan sailing boat, and takes its cues from a walk through Cadaqués, the Costa Brava village Dalí made his home.
